Seat of God Football Club And Academy’s Directors Meet, Approve Participation Of Club At PRO 1 League

Board of Directors of Seat of God Football Club and Academy Limited (SOGFC) met on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital and approved the participation of the club at the Pro 1 league in the coming season.

The Directors also agreed on conducting scouting exercise all over the country between November 2021 and January 2022.

These were made known in a communique made available to newsmen at the end of the meeting.

The Seat of God Football Club and Academy is a Kaduna based football outfit.

They also agreed that the lunching program for the club will be January/February, 2022 and that source of funding like advertisement, promotions and branding are to be encouraged and explored.

The communique reads: “1. The board commended the General manager/Technical director, Mr. Akin Akinsehinde for great job so far and that he should be entrusted with more responsibilities.

“2. The Board President, His Lordship, Bishop A. I. Tinuoye’s actions so far were satisfactory, plausible and commendable.

“3. The football club and its directors are ready to collaborate with other bodies and individuals for growth and mutual benefits.

“4. The club needs more awareness and publicity as a brand.

“5. A lunching program for the club was agreed upon for January/February, 2022.

“6. Sources of funding like advertisement, promotions and branding are to be encouraged and explored.

“7. The club shall be conducting scouting exercise all over the country between November, 2021 and January, 2022.

“8. The board gave approval for the participation of the club at Pro 1 league in the coming season.

“9. The club will be hosting an international reputable Football personality in person of Mr. Thomas Vassilos Laftsis who will be in Nigeria to recruit/scout players in January, 2022

“10. The board sees ladies and gentlemen of the press as indispensable allies of progress. Thank you.”

Present at the meeting were the Board Chairman of the Board, Bishop Tinuoye Ademola and other members are Alhaji Adegoke G. Abdur-Rasheed, (Bagii of Saki).

Others were Tinuoye R. Mojisola, Dr. Olorunnisola M. Oluwatayo, Odedire O. Alan (Secretary of the Board) and the Ex. International who is the General Manager/Technical Director, Akin j. Akinseinde.
