The love of God to humanity is vividly captured in the Book of John 3:16. “For God so loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten son……”.
For Oyo state APC, president Bola Tinubu so hated It so much that he gave Its second Ministerial slot to Ogun state.
That Ogun state has three slots in the Ministerial Nominations by president Tinubu to Oyo state’s one is no longer news.
What may be news however is the undercurrent that gave Ogun state the Lion share.
President Tinubu in his continuation of taunting the APC in Oyo state had conceded the slot of a second Minister to Seyi Makinde with a caveat that the nominee must be a female and a Christian from outside of Ibadan.
As God will have it, Makinde had adamantly forwarded a Muslim male nominee from Ona Ara local government against the instructions of Tinubu.
Thus, the nomination by Makinde was jettisoned and the slot taken to Ogun state!
If the president would rather give a slot meant for Oyo state to Ogun state only because the opposition figure he earlier conceded to failed to give him a correct specification and at that point, he could not look at the side of the APC, then whoever still thinks the president is not on a mission against Oyo APC and Oyo state by implications must be a joker.
President Tinubu have stuffed so much poisonous substance into his stomach against Oyo APC that he seems to consider It as non existent.
I pity those who, instead of speaking up and challenging the president, have resulted to be lickspittles. Thinking once they pretend to play along with the president, all will be well.
So far you’re under the space called Oyo APC, this president’s anger against you knows no bounds.
If it does, why couldn’t he look in your direction instead of throwing the slot away to Ogun state?
If the president could nominate someone like one Dr. Bolaji who had desparaged not only him but also the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Nigerian passport and he kept ignoring Oyo APC, then his anger must run so deep.
“Bi a ba ba olowo rin, bi a o ba yo, bi a ba ndarin, ebi o le pa ni”. If you associate with the rich man and he could not satisfy your hunger, if you stay on your own, hunger can not kill you.
Despite president Tinubu’s consistent persecution of his party men in Oyo state, heavens have remained in place.
If the president reconsiders his stance on the poor treatment of the party in Oyo, it is for his own sake.
Nobody knows tomorrow.
Thanks to president Bola Tinubu, we now have a situation where not only is the party marginalized, his actions has also led to the marginalisation of the zones outside Ibadan in his government of “National unity” that has disunited Oyo state like never before.
I have thought about it and honestly, I have not seen what those president Tinubu is punishing in Oyo state did that he himself didn’t do more.
Was his predecessor in office support his presidential candidacy?
When that happened, did he not give it what it took to “grab” the ticket?
If former president Bihari had acted the way president Tinubu is currently acting in Oyo state, would he have been president today?
After all, president Bola Tinubu is famous for saying ” power is not served a la carte”? That you fight for it and you grab it?
How is the events he’s punishing in Oyo state different from his own avowed principle of power?
The eye is not tired of watching.
