One of the four Oyo APC chairmanship aspirants, Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi and his supporters are conspicuously missing in an ongoing meeting of party leaders from Oke-Ogun Zone 1.

Abu’s absence at the ongoing meeting may be as a result of altercations he had with former deputy governor Iyiola Oladokun on Thursday at Oke-Ado. The State Affairs NG gathered that Alhaji Abu accused Oladokun of scheming to force his personal assistant, Mr. Dele Akinleye on party members in Oke-Ogun Zone 1, though the former deputy governor countered the Ilero-born politician.
The State Affairs NG reports that former deputy governor of Oyo State, Barr. Iyiola Oladokun, on Friday, convened an emergency meeting of party stalwarts in Oke-Ogun Zone 1, which comprises of Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa LGAs, following the directives of Oyo APC stakeholders meeting held on Thursday at Oke-Ado state secretariat of the party.
The meeting, which is holding at Bodija residence of the late former deputy governor, may likely end in deadlock as the former deputy governor announce additional two chairmanship aspirants.
A source who is attending the disclosed to the State Affairs via text message that Barr. Oladokun was playing a dangerous game that would consume him.
“We are presently holding meeting at Bodija House of Barrister Iyiola Oladokun, former Deputy governor to late governor Lam Adesina. Five representatives from each of the four LGAs were invited to be part of the meeting but to our surprise, so many ineligible members have been mobilised to partake in the meeting. Barr. Oladokun also announced two new chairmanship aspirants who did not attend screening exercise. We are now having 6 aspirants jostling for state chairmanship seat. Heavily armed thugs are surrounding the premises. Our lives are not safe” the text read.
The State Affairs NG reported that Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu (Itesiwaju LGA), Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi (Kajola LGA),  Engr. Yekeen Abolade (Iseyin LGA) and Hon. Dele Akinleye (Itesiwaju LGA) have been cleared by Engr. Idris Adeoye-led Screening Panel to vie for state chairmanship seat of Oyo APC in the Saturday rescheduled congress.
