Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, on Monday, charged the 5,000 newly-recruited teachers and 700 non-teaching staff converted to teaching cadre to embrace professionalism in the discharge of their duties. The Eko Electricity Distribution Company on Monday announced the collapse of national power grid, worsening the blackout being experienced by households and businesses in some parts of the country This is coming less than a month after similar incident occurred. Both Kaduna and Eko Electricity Distribution Companies confirmed the collapse, which occurred around 1:00 pm on Monday.
