Justice Sikiru Oyinloye of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin on Thursday, September 2, 2021 sentenced one Olaleye Rosheed, a student of Federal Polytechnic, Offa, to one year imprisonment over offences bordering on attempted cheating and internet fraud. The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has ratified the expulsion of the Party’s Caretaker Chairman of Yola South Local Government Area, Adamawa State, Alhaji Sulaiman Adamu. The Adamawa State Chapter of the party, had on August 10th 2021, suspended Adamu for allegedly attacking President Muhammadu Buhari on social media. A Delta State High Court sitting in Asaba has restrained the Governor Mai-Mala Buni from parading himself as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The ruling affected other members of Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the party. Justice Onome Marshal Umukoro, who presided over the matter, also stopped the Party’s scheduled LG Congress in Delta State slated for September 4, 2021. Justice Ringim gave the order, following an ex parte application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
