Barely one week after 27 travelers were massacred in Gada-biyu – Rukuba road in Jos North LGA, several people have been reportedly killed at Yelwan Zangam community. The latest incident happened in the same local government area of Plateau State where many houses were also razed. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced restoration of the national power grid. The State Affairs NG reported partial system disturbance at about 1.06pm on Monday, 23rd August 2021. Kwara State Government is set to hold another round of free cataract surgeries in the state, a statement said on Tuesday. The free surgery mission is being organised in collaboration with the Ophthalmological Society of Nigeria.
