A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan has alleged that Governor Seyi Makinde and his appointee, Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary are after his life.
This is contained in a well-publicised open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the PDP chieftain, Mukaila Auxiliary has constituted himself as a threat to his and his activities have been reported to the Nigeria Police Force and Department of State Services but no action has been taken on the numerous petitions.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Please Save My Soul From Governor Seyi Makinde and Mukaila Lamidi aka Auxiliary
I, Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan, a chieftain of People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State, hereby write to notify His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari ( GCFR)
of the threat to my life.
This Save My Soul letter to the President was informed by such attempts.
Mr. Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary is a long time ally of Governor Seyi Makinde and he got an appointment under the present Oyo Stage Government as Chairman, Disciplinary Committee of Oyo State Park Management System which is an agency under Oyo State Ministry of Works and Transport.
Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary has constituted himself as a threat to me and his activities have been reported to the Nigeria Police Force and Department of State Services but no action has been taken on these numerous petitions and I believe I must not wait any longer before writing to Mr President because life has no duplicate.
Lamidi Auxillary and his men have been boasting around that they will deal with me and nothing will happen after that. Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary and his boys have been a thorn in my flesh for many years in Oyo state and their recent activities, with encouragement from the state governor has turned Oyo State, especially Ibadan into a lawless environment.
Auxilliary was accused of leading hundreds of armed hoodlums to the Iwo Road Shopping Complex cause mayhem and properties were destroyed. Nothing has happened to him despite that he was caught on camera leading the hoodlums to attack the place.
” Your Excellency Sir, it has got to a point for me run to you for safety as my life is no longer safe in Oyo state and my endless efforts to secure my life through the Nigerian Police, State Security Service have not giving any hope, because none of the security agency made an attempt to caution Auxiliary and his boys.
Your Excellency Sir, after God, you are the only next that can save my life and millions of people living in Oyo State from the hand of Auxiliary and his men who disturb the peace of Oyo state residence, his uncautioning activities and the body language of the state governor have showed that, Lamidi Auxiliary believed that nobody can question him in the whole Oyo state.
Your Excellency Sir, apart from the numerous activities of Lamidi Auxiliary and his boys perpetrated since Governor Seyi Makinde appointed them as PSM workers, the recent attacks on innocent people within Ibadan metropolis in past days are alarming and worrisome.
Now, it has been confirmed by a close source that, I, Alhaji Adebisi AbdulRasheed Olopoeyan is next on their list of people to deal with.
Your Excellency sir, I heard from a reliable source that, Lamidi Auxiliary and his boys had concluded plan to attack my house this week. On hearing this, I had made attempt to reach out again to security agencies but at this point I also need to notify your Excellency because all previous Save my Soul letters sent to all the security agencies in the state and Abuja through my lawyer have not yielded any results like I stated above.
Your Excellency sir, on my behalf, my lawyers had written Save My Soul letter to the Inspector General of Police and Department of State Services severally on the activities of Governor Seyi Makinde, Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary these include: ( Bromide of the letters are also published with this letter). Your Excellency Sir, threat to my life by Mukaila Lamidi and his men especially on politicians is one out of many in Oyo state they are doing this at the very nose of governor Seyi Makinde, with his believe that this will fasten his reelection as governor in 2023.
Your Excellency sir, the said Mukaila Auxiliary is an ex convict, the Oyo state residence identified him with only act of violence and terror, coupled with the fact that he has been convicted, sentenced and served jail term, as a result of this, many people went against his appointment as Chairman NURTW but governor Seyi Makinde and his aim to be using Mukaila Auxiliary boys to suppress the voice of his opposition in Oyo state, so insisted and finally made him chairman Oyo state Park Management System Discipilary committee.
