Open Letter To The Good People Of Oyo State: Hold The Present Government In Oyo State Responsible For My Life.
I have received several warnings from friends and fellow politicians that the present government in Oyo State are perfecting plans to silence me by death or bodily harm.
Democracy is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. During late Governor Ajimobi 8 years tenure, the opposition was not silenced by threat to life and bodily harm. I was only charged to court between 2015 till 2019 with Engineer Akeem Olatunji. Nobody threatened my life. But now, reverse is the case. Many youths called me since last year when I decided to move on with my life that the present guys in government are after me. I didn’t take it serious. Because I don’t play politics of bitterness. Politics is like a game. Everybody should be free to defend his candidate. Why the threat to silence anybody that is against this present government? If Ajimobi silenced us then, we will not be alive today. Why kill your fellow human being because of politics?
This morning, another person called me to be careful that they are after me, advising that I should leave town because there is a plan to kill some of us. No weapons fashioned against us shall prosper.
I hereby inform the good people of Oyo State of these threats. If anything happens to me or any other youths of Oyo State who have rejected their lies. This present government should be held responsible.
