    Pro-Democracy Civil Society Organization, the Campaign for Democracy (CD) has extended its congratulations to its National General Secretary, Comrade Olufemi Lawson, on his appointment by the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Honorable Lucky Aiyedatiwa, as the Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment.

    The CD, in a statement signed by its President, Comrade Ifeanyi Odili, said the appointment of Lawson, a renowned Activist and Public Commentator, underscores Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to ushering in a new generation of leaders who are dedicated to enhancing governance and public engagement in Ondo State. Comrade Lawson’s exceptional brilliance and unwavering integrity makes him an ideal choice for this role. His proven track record and steadfast dedication to democratic principles and public service have been instrumental in shaping our vision for a more inclusive and transparent society.

    “We at the Campaign for Democracy are confident that Comrade Lawson will bring invaluable insights and innovative approaches to his new position, contributing positively to the success of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration. His appointment is an indicator to the Governor’s trust in his capabilities and the value he places on principled leadership.
