Announcement Of Fake LG Election Results: Oyo APC Have Exposed The Ostrich In Olagunju.
April 27 have come and gone.
Olagunju has finished acting the script of his tragi-comedy called Local Government Election.
The drums of shame have been beaten and the dance of shame have climaxed in the announcement of some 33 clowns who will want to continue the mindless plundering of Oyo state resources as proxies for the drummer.
The role played by Olagunju in this show of shame is the talking point which will not go away for a long time.
That the Senior Advocate will be pliant does not come to some of us as a surprise.
What came to me as an unfortunate surprise is the level he went in pleasing the drum beater this time around.
The man went as low as to cook results in Local Governments where the whole world knew that, even the office of OYSIEC was under lock and keys throughout Saturday, 27th April.
The people of Oorelope Local Government were able to make the whole world see that there was no presence of OYSIEC officers anywhere within the Local Government throughout Saturday.
Interestingly, Olagunju found a way to miraculously cook figures in favour of the PDP and went ahead to call election in favour of his drum beater!
When politicians engaged in crooked and shameful acts of outwitting each other, you might feel like, well, that’s their stock in trade.
However, when you see an individual who ordinarily should retain some level of integrity, who is now dancing uncontrollably to the rythm of some political slave master, then, you can not but wonder where the world is heading to.
From the totality of the events of Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, 28 of April, 2024, it is obvious that the master have written a script, submitted it to the the dancers and the rest is history.
The dancer danced himself tire in a bid to please the drum beater.
The positive takeaway from the pain and waste of public resources which OYSIEC perfected is that the involvement of the APC have helped to put some individuals in proper perspectives.
It has exposed how low some individuals will go to soil their identities.
Some of us who were at the headquarters of OYSIEC this morning to submit petitions to OYSIEC were chased away by heavily armed police men on the instructions of the OYSIEC Chairman.
So we were told.
We were told to come back tomorrow and I said wow!
The dancer was still dancing.
Now that the drums have stopped, the dancer will be left alone to face public villification.
That should even be the smallest of his concerns.

The pounded yam will be hot for more than twenty years for the one who allowed himself to be used by a desperate drummer and twice for that matter.
As I write this piece, the APC chairman for Ibarapa East Local Government, Mr. Segun Ojediran is at the Federal Medical center, Abeokuta, battling for his life after he was viciously attacked by PDP thugs early on Saturday.
What was the poor man’s offence?
Mr. Olagunju has fixed Local Government Election for Saturday, 27th of April, 2024.
Mr. Ojediran led others who have been accredited by Mr. Olagunju’s OYSIEC to monitor distribution of sensitive materials for the election in line with the OYSIEC Law.
Unfortunately for Mr. Ojediran, Mr. Olagunju’s Electoral Officer, one Mr. Tijani, a Deputy Clerk of the Oyo state House of Assembly and the PDP would not tolerate any intrusion to the Office of the OYSIEC where thumbprinting of ballot papers for PDP was going on contrary to the OYSIEC Law.
On sighting the APC Chairman and others, they descended on them and inflicted serious injuries to the head of the Chairman.
We had initially attempted to submit a letter to the OYSIEC headquarters in Ibadan on Friday to intimate the Chairman of the attrocities of his field officers in collaboration with the PDP but we were prevented.
Sadly, but not surprisingly, Mr. Olagunju have called an election that never held in Ibarapa East in favour of the PDP candidates.
We know people like Mr. Olagunju will always ask us to go to court.
We will, but that should not be his worries.
What should worry him is the court of the Almighty where there is no bias.
In 2021, Mr. Olagunju called an election that never held in favour of the PDP in Ibarapa East despite the fact that four, four lives were sent to the great beyond by Auxillary and his boys.
Where is Auxillary today?
Is it not the one who beat the drum for him who has now turned him to an outlaw?
The Ostrich have been exposed.
It will be interesting to see how the nemesis is managed.
