The Political base of APC shrunk between 2019 and 2023 with a 43% decrease. In 2019 APC polled 15,191,847 to beat the closet rival PDP which polled 11,263,423.

2023 just concluded General election must be our (APC) guide, imagine PDP with Atiku, Obi and Kwankwanso togetherness. All Progressive Congress (APC) of President Tinubu polled a total of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 6,984,520 to emerge second, Peter Obi of Labour Party scored 6,101,533 to emerge third, and Rabiu Kwankwanso of NNDP polled 1,496,687. The G-5 damages to the PDP can never be underestimated too. The division within PDP was obviously a blessing to the winning got by President Bola Tinubu. APC victory is an opportunity at the cost of PDP.

If not for PBAT throwing his cap into the race, there is no other person with that popularity and acceptability that is capable of winning. It can be said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a man of destiny. For our religious affinity, it may be said that God want to turn around for good our country Nigeria.

The expectations that President Tinubu shall perform is among ways to raise the stock again .

This is futuristic but the time to start is now. It only takes two years before another agitation starts for the 2027 PRESIDENCY.
Consider 2015 in Oyo State , APC won with 34 % . 2019 , the opposition got their act together in an alignment which made PDP to win. History likes this should not be allowed to repeat itself.

    Solution

APC appointment must reflect to the Political class. A Strong Reward system must be adopted where those who worked for the party success are seen benefitting. The resultant effect may encourage non-partisan vibrant to come on-board.
Eggheads, prominent personalities and community leaders from local level should be encouraged and made to come on board.

Inclusion of our ever vibrant youths in the administration for them to learn and also get a sense of belongings. It is to be an assurance that they are indeed the leaders of tomorrow.

Gender inclusion should be encouraged as our womenfolks roles seems beyond the kitchen and “other room”.

Running of govt should not be an hinderance on political activities, that is party meeting and consultation must not stop from local level to the national. A very vibrant party is a needed tool to ginger, promote acceptability and raise stock.

The starting of PBAT administration is encouraging as he is known to be capable and highly courageous. A notable improvement in economy indices and a strong security boost shall endear the populace to the party in any future elections.

Consolidate, Sustainability and Preparation for 2027 must start now.
