Governor Udom Emmanuel earlier today at the Akwa Ibom State Government House, played host to Nigeria’s former Vice President , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who led a delegation comprising former Niger State Governor Alhaii Babangida Aliyu , former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna, Senator Deno Milaye, and other eminent chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to Akwa Ibom State to discuss on several issues bothering on the contemporary developments in the polity.
In his remarks during the visit, former Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Babangida Aliyu stated that Governor Udom Emmanuel has done so well with little noise in Akwa Ibom State, and has also succeeded in taming those that do not know that their tenure ends in eight years.
“He is one of the few with the ability to ensure that our party the PDP remains united” he stressed.
